Project consists of completion of proposed Levee Repair that occurred in October 2004 along 400 feet of levee on Winter Island. The repair work includes the use of salvage steel barges to be placed on the breach opening. The barges are clean and do not contain pesticides, oils, or other chemicals detrimental to water quality.
