Temporary placement of weir at the downstream end of Butano Channel, to slow the drainage of water from Butano Marsh into the rest of the Lagoon in order to examine the effect on the acute drop in water quality and subsequent fish kill that has been associated with the breeching of a sandbar at the mouth and is presumed to be the cause of the fish die off in the area.
