The Community Partnering Program is The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California's (Metropolitan's) program for funding educational and community action projects and events that directly relate to Metropolitan's goal. The projects receiving sponsorship must meet minimum criteria and help Metropolitan promote water reliability, efficiency, quality, and partnership objectives; communicate Metropolitan's key message priorities; create community goodwill and grassroots support, while implementing Metropolitan's social responsibility to communities throughout the service area.
