The District will rehabilitate the existing Newark Pump Station to meet current seismic design standards, and will replace and upgrade the Irvington Pump Station and the Alvarado Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Newark Pump Station superstructure will be upgraded based on the 2004 California Building Code seismic design criteria.
