Document Description
ConocoPhillips is proposing particulate matter less than 10 microns (PM10) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction projects at its Wilmington and Carson Plants. ConocoPhillips is proposing to install a Wet Gas Scrubber at the Wilmington Plant to comply with South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1105.1 - Reduction of PM10 and Ammonia Emissions from Fluid Catalytic Cracking Units. ConocoPhillips also plans to install a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) unit on Boiler 7 at the Wilmington Plant to comply with the requirements of SCAQMD Regulation XX (RECLAIM). ConocoPhillips is also proposing to install a new SCR unit on Boiler 11 at the Carson Plant.
