- Document Description
- Project, as proposed in the 2006 MND, was to develop a planned 179 lot subdivision on a 149.9 acre site, including grading exemptions for cut slopes, annexation of five parcels, construction of a new on-site water tank, and a water pipeline extending along Vista Verde Way to an existing City water line in El Norte Parkway, and other off-site improvements. The Addendum to the MND reflects a revised project scope to replace an existing 750,000 gallon on-site water tank which is in danger of failing due to a deteriorating roof. The tank will be replaced with two, one million-gallon reservoir tanks. Additional Project components include a paved access road/drainage ditch, on and off-site pipelines, and additional related facilities. The two proposed reservoir tanks would be cast-in-place pre-stressed concrete structures with concrete roof slabs. Each tank would have an internal diameter of 84-feet and a "side water height" of 25-feet. Related facilities include: 1) a single valve vault, 2) 16-inch diameter inlet and outlet pipelines, 3) overflow piping, 4) a 16-inch diameter drain pipeline extending for 3,400 feet along Vista Verde Way, 5) a 20-foot wide paved access road and drainage ditch, 6) a 16-inch inlet pipeline and fiber optic line connecting to the Vista Verde Pump Station, 7) a sump, perforated drains, valves and fittings to be installed at the existing pump station. Arease disturbed by project grading will be revegetated with native trees and a native hydroseed mix. Once the two new 1.0-million gallon reservoirs are operational, the native welded steel reservoir will be demolished and the temporary bolted steel tank will be removed.
