Document Description
This project replaces and enhances an existing lifeguard headquarters located on a bluff at the southern end of San Elijo State Beach. The bluff on the beach side of the lifeguard headquarters has been eroding and is currently at a point where it is jeopardizing the building's structural stability. The larger replacement lifeguard headquarters facility will be built behind the bluff and to current codes and standards. It will also provide a public contact and first-aid facility. The observation tower will extend over the bluff to provide visual monitoring of the ocean.
