Document Description
Request by Greenspace The Cambria Land Trust for a Minor Use Permit/Coastal Development Permit to allow for the re-location and restoration of a historic Chinese Temple/Fraternal Hall, construction of wood fencing, decomposed granite pathways, parking, outdoor storage area for native pine saplings, 1,000 gallon water tank, interpretive signage, and a viewing deck near the creek. The project will result in the disturbance of approximately 12,000 square feet of a 20,364 square foot parcel. The project approval also includes the permitting of the demolition of a structure on the property that occurred through the issuance of an emergency permit in 2001. The proposed project is within the Commercial Retail and Recreation land use category and is located on the south side of Center Street (at 2264 Center Street), 150 feet east of Burton Drive, in the community of Cambria. The site is in the North Coast planning area.
