Document Description
The project includes protection and restoration of the west bank of Piru Creek, which forms the outside bend of the Creek within the community of Piru. The bank would be protected with vegetated rock rip-rap at the toe of the slope, a turf reinforcement mat above the toe rock, and native revegetation of the upper earthen slope, and turf reinforcement mat. These project elements would be implemented along approximately 600 feet of the west construction. Immediately following construction, the flow lines of the stream would be revegetated and the water would be diverted back to the original flow line on the west side of the channel.
