Reasons for Exemption
This project constitutes a minor removal activity to allow the construction of the proposed school. The removal action will not exceed 40 cubic yards, or four truckloads, of lead impacted soil. This remedial action is intended to eliminate the threat of a release that could expose sensitive populations at a school site. This small remedial action will not have a potential for significant effect on the environment.
