Document Description
The proposed project consists of relocating a 30 mph speed sign and, on this same sign, installing a vehicle speed feedback sign in the Caltrans right of way on the northbound unpaved shoulder to heighten motorist awareness to this posted speed-limit reduction area. Ukiah C.H.P. (California Highway Patrol) requested this project due to motorists often exceeding the speed limit in this area, presenting potential conflicts with existing vehicular and pedestrian congestion.
