Document Description
The project involves the treatment of Lake Haussmann at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory with CFT Legumine (rotenone) to remove non-native fish species that pose a threat to threatened and endangered amphibian species. Non-native fish species targeted by the treament are channel catfish, largemouth bass, mosquito fish, and non-native bull frog tadpoles. The treatment (35 gallons) will be applied and monitored by personnel from the Department of Fish and Game via a surface and sub-surface one-time applicaiton in a lake with approximately 8.5 million gallons of water with a surface area of 4 acres.
