Document Description
This project consists of the removal of approximately 5 non-native Tamarisk trees from the southern boundary of Torrey Pines State Reserve Extension. These trees may provide propagates fro Tamarisk recruitment and invasion in the wetland areas of Penasquitos lagoon. Additionally a fuels management consultant has recommended the trees be removed because the trees may increase the risk of fire spreading to the adjacent housing development.
