Implementation of priority action workplans that encompass remediation activities to prevent public exposure to potential contamination at Empire Mine State Historic Park. Project activities could include covering trail segments with a protective surface of borrow material; closing or realigning trail segments; installation of protective fencing; installation of signs; public education materials and communications; neutralization of and installation of protective cap over areas of potential contamination; removal of associated vegetation; installation of new vegetation; stormwater runoff and drainage control; soil sampling, excavation, and remediation; installation of pavement; cleaning and dust testing.
