Document Description
The proposed project is a bicycle and streetscape improvement project in the public right-of-way. Specific project components include reconstruction and, in a limited area, widening of the sidewalk, development of bulb-outs at intersections, and grading and narrowing the vehicular portion of the western end of Addison Street between Second Street and Bolivar Drive including widening of the sidewalk and improved disabled access to the Pedestrian and Bike I-80 overpass. Sidewalk furnishing such as seating, trashcans, and lighting are planned within the right-of-way. Subterranean improvements may include under-grounding of utility wires on Addison Street and portions of 4th Street south of University, and installation of irrigation and drainage enhancements. Railway crossing enhancements are planned as well as the Addison Street Crossing.
