Document Description
Phase 1 consists of re-striping 0.35 mile of an existing campus roadway to provide a bike lane in the uphill direction. This project is the first phase of a larger project which involves minor roadway widening and construction of retaining walls, improvements to the storm water drainage system and other roadway modifications to provide bike lanes in both directions along a 1 mile stretch of roadway. The project includes mitigation measures previously adopted by The Regents of the University of California for the UC Santa Cruz 2005 Long Range Development Plan.
