Document Description
The Department of Parks and Recreation proposes to administer a prescribed burn of 4,680 acres of chaparral and oak woodland over a three to five-year period. The project area is divided into three plots of 980 acres, 1,650 acres, and 2,050 acres. One plot will be burned every one to two years until all three plots have burned. Each plot will take a minimum of two days to complete, and may take several weeks depending on weather conditions.
