The Land Management Plan (LMP) will guide the Department's management, planning, and operations of the LSIWA. The LSIWA is an extensive tract consisting of natural vegetation and open water that provides diverse and valuable wildlife habitats and related recreational opportunities. LSIWA is an important part of Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta due to its natural functions and values as well as the opportunities it provides for human use.
