Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2009-0142-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Kurt Steil and Gary Johnson.
This project will fill with native soil 300 linear feet and .03 acres of a dry unnamed tributary to Long Valley Creek. All work will occur when the tributary is dry and no sediment shall pass into Long Valley Creek. This activity will be carried out in order to develop a 530 acre upland site with 5 residential lots and a private 10-acre water sports lake. The water sports lake will be fed by groundwater, not by a diversion of surface water from any stream, lake or tributary. There is a stock pond on site, but it will not be impacted by the project.
