- The City of Ontario has constructed and is operating two groundwater production wells (Wells 44 & 52), associated chlorine injections systems, and an ion exchange treatment facility as part of the Chino Basin Dry-Year Yield Program. Each well site consists of a deep-well vertical turbine pump, electrical motors, on-site chlorine generation equipment including salt and sodium hypochlorite storage tanks, and associated appurtenances.
