Document Description
The project consists of (1) the construction of a potable water pipeline, with standard appurtenances, from Western Municipal Water District's Arlington Desalter Water Purification Facility near the extensions of Sterling and Fillmore Streets in the City of Riverside to its water distribution system located at Mockingbird Canyon Drive and Van Buren Boulevard; (2) the construction of a water pumping plant to lift water from the lower elevation of the Arlington Desalter to higher elevations within WMWD's retail service area; and (3) a hydroelectric generating facility to conserve energy for use at the Arlington Desalter when water is supplied from the Mills Gravity Pipeline to communities at lower elevations.
