Document Description
The East Gate Installation project is proposed approximately 250 feet northeast of the roundabout that is under construction at the intersection of these roadways. The project includes the construction of three wall sections ranging in height from eight to 18.9 feet. The approximate lengths of the three walls are 90 feet for the northern wall (radiused to the east), 12 feet for the center wall, and 30 feet for the southern wall (radiused to the west). Walls are to be clad in a sandstone veneer. The project includes the placement of a 2.5-foot high, 6-foot wide, approximately 80-foot long steel beam, clad in a bronze skin, placed on top of the three walls to span the roadway. The project is designed with a minimum of 16 feet clearance to allow adequate distance for large vehicles to pass under the structure.
