Document Description
The Long Term Water Agreement is a court-enforced settlement between the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) and the County of Inyo. Section XV.A of the Agreement states that the City of Los Angeles agrees to sell 75 acres of City-owned land in Inyo County to the public, or to Inyo County for public purposes, in order to provide for orderly development of towns in the County. Various parcels of land were identified on a map in the Agreement as eligible for sale, and LADWP and Inyo County are to jointly confer on the location and sale schedule for parcels, each of which must be accessible to a public water system to serve the property after its sale.
