Document Description
The SWRCB, as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The Coachella Valley Water District installed a 1.725 million gallon water reservoir on an existing fenced reservoir property to provide additional water storage for domestic and fire protection in the Upper Improvement District 8 and Wide Canyon Pressure Zones. Construction was completed on Jan. 30, 2018. Operation of the tank will provide energy savings so wells do not need to be pumped as much during peak hours and will allow for removal of one tank from service for maintenance and repairs. The project will provide for the operation of the facility.
