Document Description
The District has been awarded grant funds under the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) funding program for development of a plan of study for recycled water in the Alberhill Service Area. With the assistance of the grant, the District has prepared the Final Facilities Planning Report Alberhill Service Area Recycled Water Master Plan (EVMWD, 2006). Within the Alberhill Service Area there are several potential sources of recycled water, including the District's existing Horsethief Canyon Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and the proposed Alberhill WRF. It is the District's intention to optimize, to the extent possible, the supply of recycled water to the area by utilizing as many of these sources as necessary or where convenient to create an integrated recycled water system. The proposed project is the construction and operation of these facilities and is evaluated in a MND.
