Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is a responsible agency for this project. The Department's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing state funds for the project. The Riverdale Public Utility District proposes to construct a treatment plant to treat up to 1,000 gpm of water per day. The existing well pumps will not be operated simultaneously in an effort to avoid exceeding the design flow rate. The recommended technology for the treatment plant is sorption by ion-oxide media. The project will be located within an existing water well facility located within a residential neighborhood.
