Reasons for Exemption
The project is limited to the installation of a new bridge over French Creek to eliminate the use of an existing wet ford crossing. Bridge footings will be placed outside of the 100-year flow and armored with boulders. Several large conifers may be removed as a result of the bridge placement. The old road segment will be bermed just south of the bridge installation and boulders will be placed at the approaches to the existing ford to prevent vehicles from using the crossing.
