Document Description
The project consists of acquiring an 88.7-acre parcel at PM 29.75 on Berryessa-Knoxville Road in unincorporated Napa County for oak tree mitigation. Property acquisition will not adversely affect trees, wetlands, sensitive species, or cultural resources. Resource agency permits will not be required. An initial site assessment (ISA) indicates the parcel has recognized environmental conditions (RECs) that consist of releases that may have occurred due to a structure fire and the possibility of naturally occurring asbestos in the native rock and soil at the site. Acquisition of this parcel for oak preservation is compatible with the County of Napa General Plan and zoning.
