Document Description
The proposed project consists of constructing a 140 foot tall telecommunications tower. The communications tower is needed to provide essential emergency communications linkage for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, (CDF) emergency response and fire protection commands and controls throughout the state. The new tower will replace an 80 foot tall deteriorating and obsolete tower. A former residential building and garage previously occupied by fire outlook staff will also be removed to allow for the construction of the new tower.
