Present Land Use
The majority of the 91.95-acre property is vacant. Currently only one single-family residence and outbuilding exist on the property. The General Plan designation is Residential Single Family - Low Density (RL) and the zoning is Low Density Residential (R-1).
Document Description
The proposed project is a minor subdivision of approximately 92 acres in the City of Weed to create four parcels and a remainder. In addition to the minor subdivision, the proposal includes a general plan amendment to change the designation of approximately 23 acres of the property from Residential Single Family - Low Density (5,400 sf minimum parcel sizes) to Rural Residential (five-acre minimum parcel sizes), a zone change consistent with the proposed general plan amendment, and a Conditional Use Permit so that the property owners may park heavy equipment associated with their trucking business on a portion of the approximately 23-acre parcel.
