Document Description
DFG issued the existing CESA ITP in order to address and authorize, as fully mitigated, the incidental take of giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas), a species designated as threatened under CESA. Minor Amendment No. 1, as approved, modifies the previously issued CESA ITP, modifying the 2012 work window by allowing work to continue until November 30, 2012, requiring the installation of snake-fencing, and by requiring the submittal of weekly monitoring reports. In approving Minor Amendment No. 1, the DFG determined, among other things, that no substantial increase in the nature of scope of the previous authorization provided by the CESA ITP, and that no new significant or substantially more severe environmental impacts than previously considered and disclosed would occur.
