Document Description
The proposed Agricultural Conservation Easement Program includes the following components: - A General Plan Amendment to add a reference and description of the program to existing policies in the Agricultural Element Policy Document (2002); - Changes to the existing Agricultural Land Conversion ordinance in Section 8-2.2416 of Title 8 Chapter 2 of the County Code (the zoning ordinance), so that it becomes the Agricultural Mitigation Fee program and to set the fee (proposed as $5,525 per acre of converted land).
