Document Description
DWR intends to clear the center 1/2 of Arroyo Valle channel (approximately 50 feet of the 100 foot width) of accumulated vegetation for a distance of 500 feet from Lake Del Valle dam spillway pool. DWR will also undertake annual or biannual maintenance of the cleared portion of the channel to remove new vegetation growth in center section of the channel to insure the continued adequacy of flow regimes. No sediment will be removed, and crews will not be working in open water. The work will occur between October 9 and October 31, 2006.
