Land use and conservation plan for 131 acres of City-owned and City-controlled easement open space known as South Hills Natural Reserve. The plan provides direction on the management of recreational activities, wildlife protection, wildfire management, and sensitive habitat conservation. The ultimate aim of the plan is to reconcile public use of the land for passive recreation (hiking, mountain biking) with the conservation of natural resources, protection of sensitive species, and wildfire and emergency preparedness.
