Document Description
The Lindsay Reservoir project component of the 2006 Master Water Plan evaluated in the MWP IS/MND included a 42-inch diameter water transmission main pipeline within the existing roadway right-of-way (ROW), of Campbell Street from the Lindsay Reservoir site to a connection point in Bellegrave Avenue and within Bellegrave Avenue from Campbell Street to Etiwanda Avenue. However, subsequent planning of the pipeline alignment resulted in the relocation of the pipeline from Campbell Street to Lindsay Street. From the intersection of Bellegrave Avenue and Lindsay Street, the pipeline alignment remains unchanged and will continue to a connection point near Van Buren Boulevard. The Modified Project consists of construction and operation of a 42-inch diameter potable water pipeline within the existing roadway right-of-way (ROW) of Lindsay Street from the Lindsay Reservoir site to a connection point in Bellegrave Avenue. The pipeline will be approximately 7,075 linear feet in length. The majority of the proposed pipeline will be constructed using traditional trenching techniques. Trenchless methods (e.g., jack and bore) will be used at the drainage feature and SR-60 freeway crossing to install the pipeline beneath these facilities. All staging and stockpiling areas will be within the footprint that was previously analyzed for the Lindsay Reservoir project in the MWP IS/MND, or within the new Lindsay Street ROW alignment.
