Present Land Use
The project area is predominantly developed with urban uses, including a wide mix of residential, commercial, industrial, professional office, and public land uses. Existing development consists of low-, medium-, and high-density housing, highway-related commercial services, commercial shopping centers, light industrial/manufacturing uses, and public educational facilities.
GP: Residential (Greenbelt, Low, Low-Medium, Medium, and High-Density, Resort), Commercial (Commercial, Downtown Mixed Use, Office), Industrial (including Railroad, Parks and Recreation, School Facilities, Government Facilities, Religious Uses, and Streets. Existing zoning reflects GP designations.
The project involves the merger of three adopted Redevelopment Plans into a single financial and administrative unit. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, continued implementation of the affected Redevelopment Plans is expected to facilitate infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation activities consistent with the adopted Fullerton General Plan.
