Document Description
The proposed project would upgrade the existing Men's Colony water distribution system; this system supplies domestic and fire service water to the state prison, the Camp, Questa College, the County Administrative yard, and related public facilities. The project will replace and/or up-size approximately 118,500 linear feet of the existing water distribution system. The project also includes installation and/or improvement of various appurtenant water distribution facilities such as pumps, on-line storage reservoirs, fire hydrants, and telemetric equipment. The project does not involve the extension of water service to new facilities not currently on this system; this is an infrastructure project to replace water delivery facilities that are over 50 years old and in urgent need of repair.
