The proposed project involves the construction and operation of a modern Class III lined landfill on a 1,774 acre site with ~90 years of capacity. The project includes construction of a new composting facility/area, support facilities (including a scale house and scales, an equipment shop, landfill offices, and access roads), and environmental controls at the Intergrated Waste Management Facility site, coordinated with the previously permitted construction of a transfer station at the existing Santa Maria Regional Landfill.
