Document Description
The project would re-establish the Enterprise Zone in portions of Merced County and in certain areas within the cities of Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine, Livingston, Los Banos, and Merced that are considered to be disadvantaged areas (i.e., high unemployment and low-income). The project objective is to generate new private sector economic growth in disadvantaged areas of Merced County and the cities of Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine, Livingston, Los Banos, and Merced by providing access to a variety of incentives for increased employment and business investment within those areas.
