The project includes improvements to a trailhead in the historic town of Mentryville, located in Santa Clarita Woodlands Park and construction of a connector trail. Trailhead improvements include interpretive panels, signs, fencing, benches, and restroom facilities. Approximately 1/4 mile of trail will be built to connect Mentryville in Santa Clarita Woodlands Park to the existing Newhall Ranch High Country Trail.
