Document Description
The purpose of the project is to remove contaminated soils in conjunction with the construction of Lincoln Fire Station No. 1 (Phase II). Phase II includes the continued excavation of contaminated soil. A work plan was previously approved by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board which included the removal of approximately 6,000 cubic yards of soil (Phase I); installation of three PVC conductor casings, the cavity was lined with filter fabric, backfilled with pea gravel, and covered with soil and compacted.
