Document Description
The purpose of this safety project is to improve the highway alignment and geometrics of SR-89 near Dead Horse Summit. The project proposes to modify two horizontal curves, widen shoulders to 8 feet, develop a clear recovery zone, increase sun exposure to the highway, and elevate the highway to reduce the possibility of icing during the winter.
