The proposed project is intended to relieve overcrowding at the nearby elementary schools, including: McKinley, Russell, 92nd Street, 96th Street, Griffith Joyner, Weigand, Grape and Ritter Elementary Schools. The proposed project would provide a neighborhood elementary school on a single-track, two-semester calendar, and would accommodate 950 two-semester seats for kindergarten through sixth grade.
