The proposed project involves the construction of ~46,000 sf of building space to accommodate ~ 486 students in grades 6-8, and ~41 full- and part-time faculty and staff. The proposed project would include 18 classrooms in one two-story building, and includes upgrades to support other educational uses, such as the conversion of the existing library into a performing arts, music and drama room; construction of a new library; expansion of the food service area to include an expanded kitchen and lunch shelter; new gymnasium; expanded playfields; conversion of existing 90-space parking lot into playfields for kindergarten students, and construction of a 135-space subterranean parking garage.
