The City of Arvin (collectively, "project proponents") is requesting the establishment of a California Enterprise Zone. The State of California approved the Enterprise Zone Act, establishing a mechanism to stimulate employment and business growth in economically distressed areas throughout the State. The Enterprise Zone is a long-term partnership with local governments and private companies to generate new private sector investment and growth.
