Document Description
Under the oversight of the Department of Toxic Substances Control, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is investigating and remediating soil and groundwater impacted 40-acre site. Northrop Grumman proposes to implement enhanced in-situ bioremediation with bioaugmentation technologies to remediate selected source areas. These technologies involve the addition of selected non-pathogenic chlorinated ethene-degrading dehalococcoides ethenogenes culture (referred to as KB-1) in select areas to facilitate reductive dechlorination of chlorinated volatile organic compounds.
