The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) Skinner Plant Dry Polymer Building was constructed in 1996. The building houses three dry polymer mixing and transfersystems that were designed and constructed to produce varying concentrations of liquid polymers on-site to aid in the filtration and filter backwash process.
