Document Description
The projects are for the repair of raw water facilities damaged by severe storms occurring between December 17, 2005 and January 3, 2006. All work will be performed to fully restore PCWA damaged facilities to pre-disaster condition, level of service and stability. The access road at Auburn Tunnel Outlet and Channel project will include brush and debris removal from eroded areas, construction of a retaining wall and restoration of the roadway. Clover Valley Reservoir project will include clearing and grubbing a temporary access/haul road, mobilization/demobilization of a bulldozer and excavator to remove and dispose of approximately 500 cubic yards of sediment. The Pulpmill Diversion Channel work will include removing 120 cubic yards of cobble and sediment by clamshell/dragline, and loading and hauling the cobble and sediment approximately 30 miles to a PCWA service yard.
