Approval by the Federal Aviation Administration of Airlines Operation Specifications for Horizon Air to provide commercial airline service with regional jets into Mammoth Yosemite Airport utilizing Bombardier DHC-8-402 (Q400) aircraft. The re-establishment of commercial service into the Mammoth Yosemite Airport also necessitates a change in the airport's 14 C.F.R Part 139 Certificate from Class IV to Class 1. No improvements to the airport are proposed with the exception of the remodeling of an existing maintenance building into a terminal.
