Document Description
The Operator proposes to improve and create wildlife habitat through the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's (SFPUC) Habitat Reserve Program (HRP) to provide mitigation for impacts from SFPUC Water System Improvement Program (WSIP) project including the New Irvington Tunnel Project. The Goat Rock Site is included in the HRP and is an undeveloped parcel of land east of Calaveras Reservoir located in an unincorporated area of Alameda County at approximately Latitude 37.5209 Decimal Degrees, and Longitude - 122.7755 Decimal Degrees using the NAD 83 Datum. Currently there are few on-site water resources for cattle grazing at the Goat Rock Site. To improve on-site water sources for cattle at the Goat Rock site, the SFPUC will install a 3-inch water pipeline through 3 ephemeral unnamed creeks which will provide water to cattle troughs. The CA DFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2010-0217-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Daniel L. Wade/San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
